Unable to Connect to Server Message Appears when I try to update XoftSpySE. |
Question:
1) When I click on the update button it says it is unable to connect to update server. Why?
2) My firewall hardware is asking for the domain and IP address so that XoftSpySE can access the updates. What should I put?
Solution:
1) Your Firewall does not recognize XoftSpySE. If the Firewall you are using is Norton 2004 you need to open up the program and go to the main page "Firewall" double click and open "programs tab", then scroll to XoftSpySE and allow access. Then re-boot computer. If you are using another Firewall the process should be very similiar.
2) XoftSpySE needs to access the domain "paretologic.com" which has the IP 72.3.254.66 in order to receive definition updates.
