Layout of the main window
1. Menu bar
File | Convert | Option | Help
a. File
- Open IFO file - Open a IFO file to load DVD stream.
- Open DVD - Open a DVD drive to load DVD stream.
- Open VOB/MPG files - Open some VOB/MPG files to load DVD stream.
- Exit - Exit this program.
b. Convert
- Start to convert - Start to convert DVD to output file with selected format.
- Stop converting - Stop current process including converting and scanning processes.
- Previous Chapter - Go to previous chapter.
- Next chapter - Go to next chapter.
- Go to... - Go to anywhere by time or chapter.
c. Option
- Config - Configure to control how this program to work.
- Show/hide toolbar - Show or hide toolbar.
- Show/hide status bar - Show or hide status bar.
- Show/hide Monitor - Show or hide monitor.
- Show/hide Config panel - Show or hide config panel.
d. Help
- Help topics - Open the help document.
- Visit WinXMedia homepage - Visit WinXMedia website.
- Get a license - Buy this product from internet.
- Register - Enter the register code into this program to activate the full functions of it.
- About WinXMedia DVD iPod Video Converter- Open about dialog.
2. Tool bar

- Open IFO file button - Open a IFO file to load DVD stream.
- Open DVD button - Open a DVD drive to load DVD stream.
- Open VOB/MPG files button - Open some VOB/MPG files to load DVD stream.
- Start to convert button - Start to convert DVD to output file with selected format.
- Stop converting(or scanning process) button - Stop current process including converting and scanning processes.

3. Monitor window
- Screen

4. Config panel
a. input panel
- Index - Specify the program chain. Normally needn't to change.
- Angle - Angle of DVD, Most of movies are stored in angle 1, default is 1.Normally needn't to change.
- Audio - Select the audio track to export and convert.
- Subtitle - select the subtitle to display on the screen.
b. output panel

- Format - Select the output video/audio format, including iPod Video and iPod Audio
- Zoom - Select the style to crop the video picture. Default is Letter Box (4/3).
- Volumes - Select the mode and size of output file. You can split one large file to multi-volume files by setting the splitting volume mode and the maximum size of each volume file.
- Frame rate - Set the frame rate of output video stream. If the frame rate you set is not same as the frame rate of DVD stream, additional frames will be insert into the video stream or some frame will be thrown away to keep the playing duration unchanged.
- Folder - select the folder to store output video files.
- Browse - Used to select the output folder.
- Open - Click to open output folder by explorer.
c. Progress bar
To show the process progress of current converting task.
