Digital Cameras Problem/Symptom :
- Serial Camera does not connect.
- COM2 ports are removed/refreshed but reappear in Device Manager.
- Each COM2 port has a unique IRQ (Interrupt ReQuest).
- Two COM2 ports appear in Device Manager on a new Hewlett-Packard computer with WINDOWS XP Home Edition preloaded.
Resolution :
Step 1: Enter the Device Manager. Then locate the two COM2 ports.
Step 2: Highlight one COM2 port, select Action > Uninstall. When the Confirm Device Removal window appears, click OK.
Step 3: Repeat Steps 2 for the other COM2 port. Click Start > Turn Off Computer. When the Turn Off Computer window appears, click Restart.
Step 4:When the computer restarts, it will install COM1 and COM2. Navigate to the Device Manager to verify this. Connect the Serial Camera.
