XRatel Performance Suite allows users to access from any computer in the network powerful and meaningful real-time and historical graphics, generate and register alarm and events, log and automatically send e-mail messages. Network Monitoring
XRatel Performance Suite monitors network traffic and bandwidth usage as well as many other network parameters as error rates, collision rates, etc. You can also monitor many other aspects of managed switches, printers, and other network components as long as they are SNMP enabled.
Generating a lot of KPIs, such as device's overall performance and Network Health, it provides valuable information for system administrators to optimize the efficiency, layout and setup of WAN and LAN links, routers, servers and other network components. It also monitors the downtime and access time of unmanageable devices.
Computer Monitoring
XRatel Performance Suite also monitors MS Windows computers using WMI technology (local or remote monitoring), providing the necessary information for system administrators to manage computer servers and workstations.
XRatel Performance Suite can get from a computer more than 1 million different variables, including:
many performance counters as disk usage, memory consumption and CPU load
hardware information, as cooling fan speed, CPU temperature and memory bank status
operational system information, as running version, installed updates, registry entries and logged users
application specific information, if it is available (depends on the application).
Users can create custom tags that calculates any expression involving WMI variables and statiscal tags are automatically generated, as the health tag, which expresses the overall status of a specific computer. Support for non-MS Windows computers is also available.
High End Architecture
XRatel Performance Suite has been built using a multi-threaded core and an optimized data sampling algorithm, providing high performance operation. All historical data is stored in a built-in database engine, and an external database is not required. The disk usage for stored data is low, even if you are monitoring a large number of devices and variables.
It also uses a client server architecture, that lets you have many monitoring stations you want connecting to the monitoring server. You can also connect to XRatel monitoring server using any OPC or DDE client, given even more flexibility to your Network Management System.

Performance Data
Raw SNMP and WMI data can be difficult to analyze.
XRatel Performance Suite gathers raw data from devices and continually performs statistical calculations to generate useful performance data, such as bandwidth utilization, error rate statistics, memory and disk utilization and computer/network health. End users can quickly summarize the status of their network and servers by using XRatel Performance Suite performance tags. The Health Tag calculation is based on leading indicators for the entire network or computers and XRatel Performance Suite allows the user to easily establish the importance of each indicator.
User Defined Tags
Users can also create user defined tags that calculates custom expressions. This feature gives much more flexibility to the user, allowing him to create tags using either WMI or SNMP raw tags or SNMP traps.
Tag Explorer
XRatel Performance Suite Tag Explorer is a powerful tool for data visualization, monitoring, analysis and management.
Tag Explorer allows the user to access from any computer in the network the data available through XRatel Performance Suite Server. It is able to generate powerful and meaningful real-time and historical graphics. Powerfull scooters let you navigate through values, showing the current value for each chart point. Various 3D resources also help user with data analysis.
Simple Configuration
The software configuration is very simple with the embedded configuration wizards for the Server Front End and Tag Explorer.
In Server Front End, the wizard automatically grabs your computer IP address, determines the IP range and scans your network. User can also manually set the IP scan range. After this, Performance Tags are automatically scanned and the Server is updated. There is another wizard in Server Front End that helps you to create custom expressions for user defined tags.
For Tag Explorer, the wizard gets from XRatel Server all available tags for each enabled device and help users to quickly create needed charts.
