ApexSQL Diff can speed up object matching process by using smart algorithm for indistinct matching such as SOUNDEX.

You can specify the degree of similarity in names for matching based on similarity threshold percentage (100 = match only identical names, 0 = mach completely different names). Generate accurrate syncronization scripts everytime

By default, ApexSQL Diff automatically maps schemas of the same name. But ApexSQL Diff offers a powerful feature to enable you to map schemas/owners manually and to compare objects that belong to the different schemas/owners.

View script differences visually via Line by Line Script comparison or Difference Codes

The panel to display text differences visually is a powerful component that highlights not only different lines but also different characters.

The Difference Code panel is a unique feature the categorizes the difference with a label (i.e. ANSI). This tells you quickly and specifically what ApexSQL Diff has determined the differences are.

Difference Code Filter

The Difference Code Filter allows you filtering out the objects from the Main Grid by objects difference codes. After applying the filter options those objects having the differences in the unmarked codes will be immediately filtered out.

The grid consists of two columns: Difference column displaying the difference code name and Type column displaying the object type, the difference code belongs to.

Synchronize databases step by step

The ApexSQL Diff Synchronization wizard consists of several steps that guides you to customize the final synchronization script, in a powerful tree driven wizard.
