How to recover zip password with Visual Zip Password Recovery Processor |

| After open one zip/exe file or a project file which you want to look for the password, set the symbols and the lengths of your password, click "select mode" to choose one mode to recover your password. |

If you do not know anything about a password you are searching for - please do as follows: |

| Try Automatic Mode first .
Launch Visual Zip Password Recovery Processor and wait 10-20 minutes. It means that the program will initiate combinations of different attacks. In 90 % cases it does find out the password! |

| Try a "plain-text attack" if still can not find out the password.
The main idea is that if you have got at least one unpacked file from password protected archive (lets name it PTA file) you can easily decrypt the whole archive and quickly find a password. |

| |
| If this method does not succeed, try "Worldlist attack", set a prefix and a postfix. It means, the words will look like prefix+word_from_a_wordlist+postfix. |

| If you know something about the password you are searching for - please do as follows: |

| 1. Console attack using mask characters |
| |
| 2. "False-type attack" |

| |

| |
| This kind of attack helps if you seem to remember the password, however it turns out wrong. It means you were mistaken a little while typing your password. For example, you happened to type "q" instead of "w". Or you remember the password, but do not remember where capital or small symbols were. |

| 3. Template attack |
| |

| |
| The main idea of Template attack is - on each position a symbol from a character set or word from the wordlist can be available. It can be of great help in some cases. For example, you remember that first two or three symbols were small letters followed by any word, and it ended with a digit. Let it be something like 'adSmoke5'. But you do not remember, Smoke or Smoked, or something of the kind, you fail to remember what letters and digit exactly, and moreover have forgotten the number of symbols at the beginning - two or three. |

| If all these methods noted above do not work, there are still two types of attack you can try: brute-force attack and MultiComputer brute-force attack. |
| |
| "Brute-force" attack means that all possible combinations of symbols will gradually be checked. Use the "brute-force" attack if nothing helped. |

| MultiComputer brute-force attack: A unique program, which can process more than one of zip file on a number of computers simultaneously! You are supposed to use this advantage if you have several computers. You can search for the password on hundreds computers, which are in even different cities, simultaneously! |
