This extension integrates the XMPP protocol (also known as Jabber) into Mozilla Xmpp4moz is an extension that will integrate the XMPP protocol (also known as Jabber) into your Firefox browser.
It also allows building collaborative, real-time, hybrid web/IM applications
Xmpp4moz is the basis for other XMPP-related extensions:
SamePlace, the instant messenger (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3633)
JabBar, Jabber utility toolbar (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4397)
JabBiff, contact presence notifier (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3876)
IMPORTANT: this is only infrastructure. You will need other extensions for user functionality.
