WinArcHelper is the most convenient tool to make archives of the source files.
You simply select the directory and WinArcHelper scans and gathers all
unique extensions to create a rule for this directory. Rule is the list of
file masks created from extensions. You can see this rule and
choose appropriate file masks to exclude or include files with the extensions you need. Usually they are temporary files.
For Delphi programmers there are *.dcu, *.exe, *.dll, *.~* etc. The most important moment is that you can see
what extensions are inside the directory. Exclusion of temporary files significantly reduces the size of archive files.
WinArcHelper can place all archive files of the day in a separate folder specially created by it.
