vSubst

vSubst creates a virtual drive for any folder in an easy, simple and quick way
vSubst is able to create a virtual drive for any folder easily. You can use the new drive as if it were a physical drive. Virtual drives are removed automatically on Windows-shutdown.

vSubst creates drive-letters for any folders on your harddisk. Useful to create virtual drives e.g. on laptops.

vSubst allows easy removal of all virtual folders (= Visual 32-Bit-SUBST-Command)

Limitations:

  • Some applications check for a physical CD-ROM in your drive, they won't work with vSubst (Sorry!).
  • Substitutions don't work on Network-drives (use «Connect Network Drive» instead)!br>
