The Shield AntiVirus 2006, using Hauri technology for virus protection, accurately detects and repairs viruses with its fully optimized and separated antivirus engine for Macro, Script and Windows viruses. • ViRobot and Windows Explorer
  Since ViRobot is integrated in the Windows Explorer, you can detect/repair viruses by running ViRobot in the Windows Explorer. ViRobot in the Windows Explorer supports Logs, Backup Bin, Inbox and Configuration functions, enabling you to scan for viruses more effectively.
  
• Powerful virus scanning of Email and Mailbox Check-up Functions
  ViRobot enables you to scan attachments and detect viruses while you are receiving emails, on a real-time basis. ViRobot scans your email messages as they are downloaded from the POP3 server or Microsoft Exchange server. Virus-infected attachments are stopped before they even reach your computer. ViRobot Inbox function will display information that is saved in your mailbox.
  
• ViRobot is registered on the Menu and Tool Bar of Microsoft Outlook. It enables users to scan emails and edit the configuration for ViRobot.
  If Microsoft Outlook is used as your mail client, ViRobot provide on-demand scanning of local folders of infected attachments. ViRobot will automatically detect Microsoft Outlook on the computer and enable the user interface of this feature.

  ViRobot provides you with Hauri Announcements, Virus Alert and the latest news without connecting to the Hauri web page. You will have all the information needed for you to safeguard your system from virus spreading in real-time. You can also download the latest version of definition files.
  
• Enhanced Emergency Disks
  You can create Emergency Disks to boot up your computer and eliminate viruses in emergency situations. Certain boot viruses, for instance, prevent proper booting of the hard disk or even viewing the hard disk. ViRobot support FAT and/or NTFS file system and allows you to create the disk for DOS scanning.

  Due to the characteristics of anti-virus program, it is essential for you to update your engine periodically. ViRobot supports FTP and HTTP protocol so that you can update your engine even if you are using firewall or proxy.   ViRobot detects unknown computer virus and move them to a virtual directory in Windows 95/98/Me/2000 Professional/NT (Workstations)/XP to prevent virus infections. At your request, the files stored in this directory will be automatically sent to HAURI Virus Customer Support Team for analysis. A report will be sent back to you within 24 hours. All files sent to us through the virus transmission function are all encrypted for security reasons. You can also check if your files are transmitted correctly.
