Portable InstantCrypt: Publisher´s Description

InstantCrypt is a powerful encryption tool using the Open PGP standard designed to send and receive secure email. It encrypts ("scrambles") your email so that only the intended recipient can read it. It connects easily to your previously installed email or Web mail.

Written for those who occasionally, but not always, want or need to exchange encrypted emails, for those with no or only little knowledge of encryption, and for those who want to give encryption a try.

What's New in This Release:
  • Switched from encryption engine GPG v. 1.4.2 to latest version 1.4.10.
  • Improved key creation user interface.
  • Drag-Drop support for plain and encrypted text windows in main form.
  • Started an Internet discussion forum; now a link is in the program.
  • User messages improved.
  • Mail module: serious bug removed.
  • Provided instructions for a compatible Apple/Linux program (PortablePGP) Started Discussion Forum for InstantCrypt, link available in InstantCrypt Help.
  • Several minor changes
