FolderCloak, by filesee.com is an interesting utility that lets you hide folders so others can't see them. I had to kind of laugh when I looked at the developers site. I had assumed that the term "cloak" was taken from the cloaking device used by the Klingons. Not so. On the Web site it says that the program puts a "Harry Potter invisibility cloak" on your folders. So, same concept, different source. In any event, FolderCloak makes the folders you select not only totally invisible, but the files can't be accessed in any way. In testing it out I tried a few tricks to see if I could unhide...

FolderCloak is a tool that hide your private folders easily. With FolderCloak, you can hide your folders and thus prevent access by anyone else to your personal files and documents. FolderCloak just puts a "Harry Potter's invisibility cloak" on your folder so the folder looks invisible. FolderCloak does not change the folder structure, does not move the protected folder, and does not change Windows system files. You can not lose your files.
FolderCloak 2.1 is very very easy to use. Add a folder to the folder list and hide it, then the folder is invisible!
