A closer look at jobs
In Fileaze lingo, jobs are sequences of operations that start from the selection/downloading of files (called ¡°sources¡± in Fileaze) followed by an arbitrary number of actions performed on the selected files.
Sources can reside on local and networked drives or be network resources such as e-mail mailboxes, FTP servers and HTTP (Web) pages. Sources can be filtered by the name, size, attributes and dates of files utilizing the built-in Regular Expressions engine for text matches.
Fileaze is able to perform single or multiple actions on selected sources:
- Filesystem actions like copy, move, delete, rename, set file attributes and file date
- Zip and unzip files and folders
- Encrypt and decrypt files
- Issue commands passing Fileaze¡¯s sources as input parameters
