Clone Disk Generator - Quickly make boot disks
Clone Disk Generator was created to help quickly make boot disks for the PC cloning system used in high school.

If you want to clear all of the files on the floppy disks EXCEPT the system files, check both the "Delete Old Files" and the "Create System Files" buttons. This can save time because the program will skip over the system files when it comes time to clear the disk, and it won't have to re-sys the disk.

If there is only a few files you want to change on the floppies, leave "Delete Old Files" unchecked. Remove all of the files from the "Files To Copy" list that you don't want changed on the floppies.

It is very simple to use. No advanced skills required.

Limitations:

  • Because of the potential to erase an entire disk, the program will not setup a disk if Windows has marked the drive as non-removable.
  • File names (including the path) are limited to around 256 characters.
  • The configuration file is limited to around 2k of text.
