BitDefender Antivirus Scanner for Unices is the command line antivirus scanner built for both Linux and FreeBSD systems. It includes the certified BitDefender Antivirus Engines and provides on-demand anti-malware scanning for both your UNIX based and Windows based partitions.

A wide set of options is available for BitDefender Antivirus Scanner for Unices users: you can scan for viruses and other malware, single or multiple files, set different antivirus actions based on the scan result type, quarantine detected files or create reports and log files with the scan result.


Per-user Configuration Files

This BitDefender proprietary technology represents a new security layer that keeps the operating system safe from unknown viruses by detecting potentially malignant pieces of code for which signatures have not been released yet. It thus supplements usual signature and behavior-based techniques, increasing the overall effectiveness of your antivirus solution. B-HAVE is a component of the BitDefender Engines.

On-demand Scan
