Highly configurable backup software with intuitive explorer style interface. Performs mirror backups.
Backup4all, by Softland is a nifty backup utility that's also quite powerful. I found the program to have an intuitive interface and it was very easy-to-use. I think that makes it perfect for both new and experienced users. One excellent feature is a "wizard" that walks you through the entire process. Give your backup a name, pick all the folders you want to backup, pick individual files, and select other options for your backup depending on your preferences. For packing up files, the program creates ZIP format files. Depending on your needs you can either go for maximum compression of fastest time -- your pick. And, if you want, use a password to further protect you data. Again, the choice is up to you.
Backup4all will let you schedule backups so they may be done automatically. One way to do it is just to set up all the backups you want and then just schedule them to run at different times. A great way to keep your important data safe and secure. Another great feature in the program is the ability to do an "incremental" backup. That means you can keep different versions of the same backup. And what does that mean? Well, for one, that you could have one file, but maintain different copies of it. In one copy you might say something one way, in another copy something different. A very handy feature to have. And the program will let you back up to CD-R, CD-RW, ZIP disk, even another hard drive, or a drive on your network. Slick!!
Backup4all, by Softland, is a powerful backup utility that's also easy-to-use. It offers a range of configurable options, and I like that. It also lets you backup to a wide range of media, including ZIP disks, CDs, and even network drives. The program is intuitive and the handy wizard makes backing up a snap for anyone. And, you can even schedule your backups, so you don't forget. So, if you're looking for a program to keep all your data backed up, take a good look at this! I think you'll like it! Nicely done!
