  • Backup 2001 is organized around a Backup set. A backup set contains the definition of the backup.
  • Backup 2001 manages a catalog for each backup job. So you will be able to consult, or search, through all backup jobs without opening each individual backup file.
  • Backup 2001 comes with its own scheduler job, but you can also, use the 'Windows' task scheduler.
  • Backup 2001 uses an extended Zip file format to backup files. So, backup files can be viewed and restored with any zip file utility. The limitation of standard zip file can be broken down.
