Xbox 360 is the second generation video game player developed by American Microsoft Corporation. Xbox 360 is launched for competing with Sony New PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's product Wii. A notable feature of Xbox 360 is its integrated Xbox Live serverce which make the player compete with others online. It also let you download arcade games, game demo, trailers, TV- shows, and videos. This device includes Windows Media Center multimedia functions, mandatory support of High definition in all games, and with a add-on drive, it is capable to play a HD video for you.

Xbox 360 has three different variants, Xbox 360 "Arcade", Xbox 360 "Pro", Xbox 360 "Elite". Xbox 360 Core is replaced by Xbox 360 Arcade in October, 2007. Xbox 360 Pro 60GB version was released in Aug 1st, 2008.

Xbox 360 "Arcade" - it is the basic level of Xbox 360. Oct. 2007, in order to replaced the "Xbox 360 Core", "Arcade" was publicly revealed by Microsoft's president of Entertainment Devices division Robbie Bach to the Financial Times on October 18, 2007. It includes a wireless controller, composite AV cable, HDMI 1.2 output, an internal 256 MB memory chip and 5 Xbox Live Arcade titles.

Xbox 360 "Pro" - it includes all the features of the Xbox 360 Arcade and includes a hybrid composite and component cable with optional optical out instead of a composite cable. This model also includes a detachable 60 GB Hard Disk Drive (previously a 20 GB HDD) to store downloaded content, provide compatibility with original Xbox games, and store game data. The included hard drive comes with game demos, video clips and a free Live Arcade game, Hexic HD.

Xbox 360 "Elite" - is the most expensive variation of the console. It includes a 120 GB hard drive and a matte black finish. The Elite retail package also includes an HDMI 1.2 cable and a controller and headset that match the system's black finish. Early Elite models shipped using the Zephyr motherboard, though newer models now use the Falcon 65 nm chipset instead. These Elites (and other Xbox 360 models using the Falcon) can be identified from earlier versions by a re-designed power connector and a power supply that runs at 175w. The motherboard layout is also different.



PlayStation 3 (Official Marketed PLAYSTATION 3) is the third version domestic video game console, developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. The PlayStation 3 competes with Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Nintendo's Wii as part of the seventh generation of video game consoles.

There are five PlayStation 3 hardware models that are commonly referred to by the size of their internal Hard disc drive: 20, 40, 60, 80 and 160GB models.
