Windows 7 will be the next version of Microsoft Windows, an operating system produced by Microsoft Corporation for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablet PCs, netbooks and media center PCs.

When will Windows 7 be ready for release? Which is concerned by most of the windows users. Microsoft was very shy about pinpointing the Windows 7 release date in the past.

They did provide some clues like that it would be released about three years after the release of Windows Vista, or that Windows 7 would be released before the PDC conference in 2009. There was still lots of speculation about the day, week or even month in that Windows 7 would be released.

Microsoft have not yet confirmed the release date for Windows 7. The Windows 7 Beta was released in February 2009, and the next step in the testing programme will be the launch of the Windows 7 Release Candidate. Windows 7 Beta downloads are no longer available.
