Skype to Google Android
Skype is a software application that allows users to make telephone calls over the Internet. Calls to other users of the service and to free-of-charge numbers are free, while calls to other landlines and mobile phones can be made for a fee.

On 23rd, Sep 2008 Google released G1 (GPhone) and claimed that they will have a share of the big market of smart phone. It is the first phone to the market that uses the Android mobile device platform.

As 3G networks get better and more smartphones get integrated Wi-Fi, there has been a growing demand for software that enables customers to make free or low-cost VoIP calls.

Skype has released a version of its calling software for Android smartphones and more than 100 Java-capable cell phones from LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson. The service may be useful for mobile users who make international calls often, as Skype's prices are often less than what a wireless carrier charges.

The Android version of Skype can be downloaded to a T-Mobile G1 through the Android Market, and other Java-enabled devices can download it at Skype's download site.
