Internet Explorer uses a zone-based security framework that groups sites based on certain conditions, including whether it is an Internet- or intranet-based site as well as a user-editable whitelist. Security restrictions are applied per zone; all the sites in a zone are subject to the restrictions. Opera allows users to add their own needed widgets just as Mozilla Firefox do but Internet Explorer not.

Standards supports - Opera 10 could supports HTML 5, CSS 2.1, XHTML Basic, XHTML Mobile Profile, WML 2.0, HTTP 1.1, image format such as: JPEG and full support PNG, including Alpha transparency. Internet Explorer also support neral all above. Moreover, IE could partialy support CSS level 2 and DOM level 2.
