 How can I download a previous version of STOPzilla?
To download STOPzilla 5.0, please click here. NOTE: STOPzilla 5.0 does not support Windows 98. Windows 98 users must download STOPzilla 4.4.
How can I get a Registration Key?
You can order now to get a Registration Key. If you lost the Key originally provided to you when you registered the product previously, send us the e-mail address you used to register STOPzilla and a new Key will be sent to you in minutes via e-mail.
What does "Registration limit" mean when reinstalling?
When you purchased STOPzilla, you bought a one-year (or Lifetime Upgrade) subscription for one computer (or more, if you purchased a bulk license.) STOPzilla will allow you to register only as many copies as you have purchased. If you have removed STOPzilla and need to reinstall it, purchased a new computer, or had your old computer reformatted, you will need to have your account reset.
How do I upgrade to the latest version of STOPzilla?
Upgrades are new releases (versions) of STOPzilla. Unlike updates, which are minor enhancements to an existing version of the product, upgrades include major changes in functionality. You can set STOPzilla to download updates automatically: Double-click the SZ System tray icon in the lower right corner of your screen. In most STOPzilla dialogs (REAL-TIME PROTECTION, POP-UP PROTECTION, SITEGUARD and SCHEDULER) you can click Check for Updates in the lower right corner of the dialog to launch the Updater manually.
Why do I need to scan for Spyware?
When you first install STOPzilla, it performs a full scan of your system to remove all infections. Once STOPzilla is running, it is recommended that you perform a scan periodically to remove any traces of infection or other potentially unwanted files from your system. STOPzilla detects, blocks, quarantines, and gives you the option to remove malicious program elements. Also, STOPzilla is constantly updating its database of known malicious files.

How often do I need to scan for Spyware?
When you first install STOPzilla, the software performs a Full Scan automatically. Thereafter, it is recommended that you perform a Full Scan for Spyware once each week. You can set STOPzilla to scan automatically, at a convenient time. Or, you can scan manually anytime you wish. To scan automatically on a schedule you set: Double-click the SZ System tray icon in the lower right corner of your screen. STOPzilla enables you to define the depth of the scan. You can perform a Quick Scan, Intelligent Scan, Custom Scan or Full Scan.
