Syndrome of W32.Beagle.DN@mm:
W32.Beagle.DN@mm is a worm that uses its own SMTP engine and file-sharing networks to spread. Once launched, it opens a back door on the infected computer and attempts to lower security settings. The worm also tries to connect remote server for downloading and executing malicious files.
Remove worm:
To remove this worm needs the following two steps:
1. Delete the infected files:
a. Before scan the files in the computer, update the antivirus program's virus database.
b. Use antivirus program to run a whole scan.
c. Delete the virus or malware.
2. Delete the value from the registry:
a. Click "start" button -> "run....", then type "regedit", and click "ok" button.
b. Navigate to the subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
c. In the right pane, delete the value:
"DsplObjects" = "%System%\windspl.exe"
d. Close the Registry Editor.
