Custom Fix - Spynomore

If your computer is infected with a spyware that is just not going away, all you have to do is run Custom Fix (patent pending).

FAQ: Internet Explorer stops showing graphics after trojan removal.
To restore Internet Explorer's ability to show graphics (pictures, movies) after trojan removal, simply open Internet Explorer, click on Tool > Internet Options > Advanced > Restore Defaults.
FAQ: During scan, SpyNoMore generates and "access violation" error message
This issue has been resolved in version 2.36 and made available on July 23, 2006 9:00 am PST. If you receive and "access violation" error message during the scan, please update SpyNoMore (by clicking on the 'Updates' button) and download all available updates. Run the scan again and the error message should be gone.
FAQ: Error message "Error opening file for writing SNM.exe"
If you try to install SpyNoMore while you already have a previous copy of SpyNoMore installed, you will get an error message "Error opening file for writing SNM.exe". To resolve this, please do the following:
First, please note that in order to activate SpyNoMore, you do not need to install SpyNoMore on top of the trial version of SpyNoMore which you already have. All you need to do is run the free trial version, use it to scan your PC, click on Remove Spyware, then enter your Receipt Number to activate the trial version. Once activated, the trial version will automatically be converted into the full version.
If you continue to receive the error message, please do the following:
1- Go to Start > Program Files > SpyNoMore > Uninstall
2- Download SNM trial version from http://www.spynomore.com (click on FREE SCAN)
3- Double-click it to run SpyNoMore
4- Run the scan, allow it to complete, then click on Remove Spyware
5- Enter your Receipt Number when prompted.
FAQ: My Antivirus detects items in SpyNoMore's RollBack section, why?
Your antivirus is detecting items that are already quarantined by SpyNoMore (in SNM's RollBack section). You can permanently delete those (and they will no longer be detected by your anti-virus) as follows:
1 - run SNM
2 - click on RollBack. All quarantined items will be shown there.
3 - place checkmarks in boxes next to items you would like permanently deleted.
4 - click Remove Components
