Songs Format Supported by karaoke Sound Recorder

Kar:

kar files (files with the *.kar ) are files created for karaoke . These songs contain the lyrics in the file. When you load kar files to Microsing you will hear the music and see the lyrics run in sync with the song. The sound of kar files (like the mid files) depends on the sound card you have.

Size 20 -50 KB

Mp3:

Mp3 files are much bigger files 3 -5 MB but the sound is also much better. Usually mp3 songs are WITH the original singer voice on. So if you sing with mp3 you will hear the original singers voice + your voice. But you can also find mp3 playback (music only) on the Internet.

Mid:

Mid files are very good for karaoke because you can find and download a lot of songs. From a lot of web sites on the web. Mid files are also very fast to download (10-40 KB)

Wav:

Wav files have the best sound but they are very big files (about 20 MB - 50MB). Karaoke Sound Recorder save the recorded song ( in the microsing full version only) to a wav file. It’s the best audio quality - wav files can be burned to a CD.
