IPSearchLight for ASP.Net is a component designed to give you benefits from a professional installer that automatically integrates with the Microsoft Visual Studio 2002 and 2003 toolboxes.
IPSearchLight uses the highest quality data-provider available, MaxMind LLC. A free and accurate geolocation database is included in the package. Optionally, you can upgrade.
By licensing MaxMind's Enterprise-Level Database or Web Service, you can attain even greater precision in your data.
IPSearchlight automatically detects each visitor's:
Country
Region or State
City
Postal Code or Zip
Latitude
Longitude
Telephone Area Code
Designated Market Area Code (USA)
Internet Service Provider
The organization which the IP is assigned to
Note: The installer will automatically import the IPSearchLight GeoLocator control into your Microsoft Visual Studio 2002/2003 Toolbox.
Drag and drop the control from the Toolbox into your web page, and view it's properties to see it in action.
Once you have downloaded and installed IPSearchLight into your web application, copy your downloaded license file into the bin directory.
