DomAPIX is a free and small ActiveX control which you can download and install on your development box
DomAPIX is a free and small ActiveX control which you can download and install on your development box for testing how much memory is consumed by certain parts of your pages.

Installation:

1) Download and extract the dll to the directory of your choice (the rest of this article assumes it's in "c:windowssystem32").
2) Install it by executing the following at a command prompt:
regsvr32 c:windowssystem32domapix.dll

Requirements:

  • DomAPIX will only work on Windows machines and only on Internet Explorer (or Netscape with the appropriate plugin - not provided).
