DES Encryption.ZIP

The Active X control has 3 properties and 3 methods. The .Key, .TextIn, and .TextOut properties specifty the 16 hex digit key, the text to be encrypted (arbitrary length), and the result of the encryption. The .RandomKey method selects a random key. Setting .Key and .TextIn at run time and invoking the property .Encrypt is all that is needed to perform the conversion. The .Decrypt method converts what is in .TextOut back to to .TextIn. NOTE: DECRYPT IS DISABLED IN THE FREE VERSION OF THE CONTROL but there are no other restrictions. A description, DES validation file and a sample program using the control is provided in the compressed archive.
