BlueSim

BlueSim is a JSR-82 simulator for compiling & testing JSR-82 applications.
BlueSim is a JSR-82 simulator built using Java. BlueSim JSR-82 Simulator allows you to test your JSR-82 applications without any need of actual bluetooth device or a real bluetooth stack.

Main features of BlueSim:

JSR-82 Compliant
  • BlueSim is a 100% JSR-82 compliant, implementing the complete JSR-82 specification. This means you can compile and test your JSR-82 application over BlueSim, and if it runs over BlueSim, it should run over any standard JSR-82 stack.
    100% Java
  • BlueSim is developed completely using Java, and includes the GCF. This means BlueSim JSR-82 Simulator can be run on any platform. BlueSim runs fine over J2SE and J2ME.
    Intranet Ready
  • Multiple instances of BlueSim JSR-82 Simulator can be run on different machines in the local intranet. BlueSim will automatically detect each other instances. This allows you to simulate the Bluetooth environment completely, and test the server and client applications simultaneously.
    Simple Configuration
  • Configuring BlueSim is very easy. Just edit the configuration file, and specify the device name and device address. That's all!. No need of any heavy configurations, no J2ME projects needed, No phone selections. It cant get any simpler that this.
