Installation
The installation proceeds automatically. Just follow the instructions of the Scramby installation wizard. During the installation process Scramby asks you which sound devices you want to use. All settings can be changed manually in the options later on.
Launch
Start Scramby and any voice-over-IP application. Usually you do not have to change any settings in your voice-over-IP application. Make a call and use one of the Voice Effect check boxes to activate a Scramby Voice Effect or use one of the Background check boxes to play a Background. When you are using Scramby while you are making a call, the  button turns red. |
Create Effects
To create a new Voice Effect for Scramby, click Options and select the Voice Effects tab. Click New... to open a new window in which you can define the Effect name and the VST plug-ins that you want to use. You can use up to three VST plug-ins for one voice effect.
- Options → Voice Effects → New...
There are three lists with available VST plug-ins. Select at least from one list a VST plug-in and click Use. A window opens up for each VST plug-in that you have selected, displaying the VST plug-in's adjustable parameters. Feel free to change your voice any way you want by adjusting these parameters. Click OK to save the new Voice Effect. It will appear in the list among the preset Effects and can be activated.

Import VST plug-in
Scramby already provides a large number of different VST plug-ins. But there is also the option to use other VST plug-ins. Click Options, select the Voice Effects tab, click New and then Import and select the VST plug-in. After importing a plug-in it will be permanently available in Scramby |
Edit Effects
To edit an existing Voice Effect, click Options and select the Voice Effects tab. If you Click Edit..., new windows will open. In the left window you can change the Effect name and define new VST plug-ins. The windows on the right side display the adjustable parameters of the currently used VST plug-ins.
- Options → Voice Effect → Edit...
Adjust the parameters as you desire and click OK to save the changes.
