How to fix missing sound events errors?
Windows provides you facility to associate an application event with a sound event, for example, the "ding dong" sound you hear when an application presents a message Box. If a sound file used for any event is missing, applications and Windows are unable to handle the event resulting in such unexpected occurrences as like playing irregular sounds.
Registry Booster repairs references to sounds and other events that are missing or inexisting.
Step1. Launch Registry Booster, select the option: Sound and App Events.
Step2. Click the button "Start Scan" at the bottom, once Registry Booster starts checking Sound and App Events of your registry, a status monitor will appear as below.
Step3. After completing, You can see the scan results. And then choose Sound and App Events problems which you want to fix, Click "Repair Registry" to repair.
Note: We strongly recommend to backup registry first before repair them. Click Here to view how to backup Windows registry. |
