• CyberLink Eagle Vision – CLEV™

CyberLink Eagle Vision augments a user’s viewing experience by intelligently adapting video contrast and colors across movie scenes to deliver superb colors and improved detail. Eagle Vision helps balance overly dark and overexposed scenes, optimizing color and contrast to deliver the most vivid images possible. The technology is also ideal for correcting the loss of detail inherent in some LCD and CRT monitors.


• CyberLink Pano Vision – CLPV™

Pano Vision lets users view movies that have been designed to fit on wider screen ratios (16:9) optimally on standard monitors (4:3). Pano Vision provides an effective way to watch movies suited to 4:3 ratio screens on wider monitors too.


• Smart De-interlacing

CyberLink's adaptive video deinterlacing technology ensures a smoother and clearer video image while playing video files and DVDs.

• CyberLink Multi-Channel Environment Impression – CLMEI™

CyberLink Multi-Channel Environment Impression lets users make the most of their audio system, delivering multi-channel audio from any two-channel encoded audio track. This means, that users with a multi-channel speaker system can play MP3 audio files, audio CD tracks, and DVD movies with 2-channel encoded audio tracks in multi-channel virtual surround sound mode.

There are three modes of operation:
• Movie Mode suited to movies, especially those with dynamic audio position shifting;
• Music Mode (Standard) which simulates the sound of a concert as if heard through speakers among the audience;
• Music Mode (Onstage) which simulates the sound of a concert as if originating onstage.
Multi-Channel Environment Impression is a proprietary audio technology developed by CyberLink.


• CyberLink Headphone – CLHP™

CyberLink Headphone simulates the sense that sound is originating at a distance from the listener, and not from “within” the user’s head. Thus, users are able to enjoy movies without sacrificing any of the feeling they get from listening through a home theater setup. CyberLink Headphone is also great for extended listening periods, for it doesn't create the fatigue often associated with wearing headphones over long periods.


• CyberLink Virtual Speaker - CLVS™

CyberLink's Virtual Surround technologies simulates the feeling of surround sound when multi-channel audio is played via two speakers or headphones (i.e. CLVS™ and CLHP™). PowerDVD 7 provides a choice of three audio environments for CLVS: Living Room, Theater, and Stadium.
