 Where do I activate the MPEG-4 AVC Pack, after I've downloaded and installed it? |
The MPEG-4 AVC Pack does not need to be activated separately once you it is downloaded. Just go ahead and install. The key you received is the installation/serial key.
To check if the pack has been activated, start PowerDVD, then on the control panel, click the small CyberLink logo which opens a window. Click 'Activate' and the 'Upgrade Information' window open. If your pack is activated, you should see the following line "Add-on pack(s); MPEG4 AVC Pack".
To check that the installation was succesful, right-click this link and select Save Target As and then open the file with either PowerEncoder or PowerDVD with the AVC Pack installed |

| I have seen that Cyberlink offering a DVD Add-on pack (called PowerDVD SE) for Windows Media Player for Windows XP. Is this the same as PowerDVD 6.0 ? |
The difference is that PowerDVD SE is a plug-in for Windows Media Player for Windows XP and PowerDVD 6.0 is a standalone program. With PowerDVD SE you will be able to watch DVDs on your PC, but this plug-in program does not include many of the rich features found in PowerDVD 6.0.

| How many languages does PowerDVD support? |
PowerDVD is currently available in the languages that are listed below. Upon installation, PowerDVD will automatically detect and install the language of that which is identical to the operating system. If the language of the operating system is not available within PowerDVD, then the English version will be installed. If you purchase PowerDVD online, you may have to download the language kit separately. This is to reduce the program size for faster download. Available languages:
