To Erase Data

Step 1. Run SystemSuite
Boot your computer using the Recovery CD.

Step 2. Select Dada
Select SecurErase drive or partition from the Rescue Disk Wizard, a diskmap representing the current drive layout appears, along with any logical partition to the right of the diskmap. Select the drive or partition you want to erase from the drop-down list.

The selected drive has an arrow pointing to it. You can also select the partition to erase from the Erase Partition drop-down list.
CAUTION: Selecting the Erase entire drive option will delete all the data from the currently selected disk, not just the selected partition.

Step 3. Click Next to continue.

• The default Government SecurErase (maximum security) option will write four separate passes of different data.
• The Custom SecurErase (normal security) option lets you set a Fill mask value, number of Passes, and what percent of the disk to Verify at completion.

Step 4. Click Next to start the process.
Be aware this process is quite time consuming, since every byte of the area selected must written multiple times, without using disk caching. Progress information will appear and you can cancel at any time.
