Norton internet Security - FAQ |

I can not connect to internet even if I disable Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall, why? |
Please Try folloiwng steps:
- Turn Off Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall
1. Launch Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall
2. In the left Pane, click Status & Settings
3. In the right pane, click security
4. Click Turn Off
- Test your Internet connection
Start Internet Explorer, and go to any website, such as http://www.apple.com/.
A. If you can connect to internet, go to "I can connect to internet'
B. If you can not connect to internet, go to "I still can not connect to internet" - I can go to internet
Run Norton Connectivity Troubleshooter , and Turn on Norton Internet security If you can connect to internet, then the problem has been fixed. if the internet connection still not work, please Uninstall Norton Internet Security and test Internet connection again.
- I still can not connect to Internet
Download the latest Virus Difinitions on a computer that could connect to internet, save and copy virus difinition to your PC via CD or Removable USB drive, then update the virus definitions and run a full system scan. After finish scanning, test internet security.
- If Internet still won't work, we suggests you uninstall Norton Internet Security and reinstall it again.

Disable Ad Blocking and Popup Blocking for the site |

1 Go to the Web site that you can not connect to |
| |
2 Click the Norton Internet Security icon or the Norton Personal Firewall icon on the Internet Explorer toolbar. The icon might be labeled Web Assistant. |

3 Uncheck "Block ads on this site" and "Block popups on this site" by clicking the item. The page automatically refreshes with the new settings.

Log on with a Norton Internet Security Supervisor account |

1 Start Norton Internet Security |
| |
2 In the Norton Internet Security window, in the left pane, click User Accounts . |

3 Click Log Off |
| |
4 If you are prompted with a dialog box to confirm your choice, click Yes . |
| |
5 Click Log On |
| |
6 In the Account Name field, select Supervisor |
| |
7 In the Password field, type your password.
If you have never assigned a password to the Supervisor account, leave this field blank. |
| |
8 Click OK . |
| |
9 You should see the following text: "You are logged on as: Supervisor." |
