Norton Personal Firewall 2005 protected our test system from inbound port-scan attacks, Trojan-style leak test attacks, and manual attacks on the firewall process itself. Its ability to Auto Block an IP address after an attack stymies denial-of-service attacks. Add privacy control and ad blocking and you get a package that's hard to beat. |
