It can be used to find button images on the screen for example. Use the Image Recognition Library to automate applications where it is not possible to access objects and windows directly.

The Image Recognition Library is independent of the underlying object technology as it works with raw graphics so can locate objects on the screen regardless of the technology being used. E.g. use to automate Flash applets, Virtual PC, VNC and Remote Admin sessions, Java applets, Terminal Server/Citrix sessions, Terminal Emulators etc.
