Pros: liteCam is fairly compatible with Windows Vista and both the REC speed and quality are exellent. There is no adware as well as spyware bundled with this program, it is 100% clean.

Cons: To be a perfect program, liteCam still has some details to revise. For instance, users may first find their favorite video, and then record it, but liteCam could not record or play if you run any media player before you set up the video option.

The Bottom Line: liteCam is an easy to use screen recorder. With its help, you could replay your favorite movies even they’re streaming ones.

Why liteCam?
Powerful functions. liteCam has many great features – just setting up a recording timer, I can walk away with no worry about miss my favorite movies. You could also add audio narrations with this program and you have instant video tutorials!

Support Vista. My computer’s operation system is Windows Vista, some desktop recorders don’t support it, while liteCam is totally compatible with it. What makes me feel a little pity is that this program’s GUI is lack of semi-transparent elements, although it is clean and concise.

Friendly and easy to use. It could automatically select the sound card, which saves us a lot of time and energy. Selecting video is also quite easy, just clicking and dragging.

System Requirements
The setup file of this program is 6.89MB, and after installation, it occupies 8.83MB disk space. There is no adware or spyware combine with this program, so you could install it without worry about losing data. When I first launched this program, I choose “set the hardware acceleration automatically”, suddenly my screen turn to black, which surprised me a lot. Designers should write it on tips. When I used this tool to record a movie, it occupied 16,103KB RAM – too little compared with my 512MB RAM. It hardly affected other programs, while you’d better not drag other program or dialogue box in the record area, otherwise, it would record them all.

Conclusion
If you’ve experienced this program, you will like it. To a beginner, although liteCam offers powerful wizzards, it maybe takes some to get familiar. However, once you grip it, you will never need other desktop recorders.
