Capture That

Capture That! is a small utility that allows you to change the default file format that Mac OS X uses for screen capture.

You can choose 4 different types: JPG, TIFF, PNG and PDF.

The shell command used are "defaults write com.apple.screencapture type xxx" to change the filetype and "killall SystemUIServer" to make your change operative.

Keep a backup copy of your com.apple.screencapture preference file to prevent problems.
