Many different brush presets to help you get started with the plugin ranging from basic single symbol dabs to multi-symbol and dabs and bristles brush strokes.
Use the artpad / pen pressure (can be used with a mouse as well)
To see all the options for the plugin, please press return or double click the isymbol toolbox icon. The plugin has a range of options such as the default dabs settings as well as the extended bristles / brush size etc options and these are covered over multipled tabbed dialogs
Control the apply rate or slowdown of the dab / bristles output; as well as scaling of the dabs / bristles; shrinking or growing of the brush size; different brush templates such as a ring brush or diagonal brush; slanting of the brush stroke; random or ordered selection of the brush dabs and bristles and 100s of other great features.
Use the plugin to create hi-impact brush stroke frames
Use the tool to create brush strokes for use in Illustrator, create and drag into the brush stroke palette.
Use the symbols in combo with the native tools such as the symbol scruncher and stainer and re-sizer etc
Symbols can be replaced at any point in the creative process so paint with \'A\' and then change your mind, replace all the brush strokes with \'B\' or even \'Z\'
The brush strokes can be continious but by changing the apply rate and jitter settings, sprays and splatters of symbols can be generated creating realistic brush strokes for Illustrator
The plugin has features for generation across layers (as well as just using the layers palette!) and the brush strokes can therefore be \'animated\'.
Very easy to create your own symbols. Simply select a path and drag the path into the symbols palette. This can be applied to most kinds of paths such as meshes or gradients or images (some will be slower as brush strokes than others). A basic shape can be often just as effective as a complex designed dab
