Pros:
It's quite a useful and practical tool for users who do not install CAD, for it aims at converting these specific file formats to common image formats, and then users could open them without professional image tools.
Cons:
The interface needs improving, and there is a lack of integrated Help file that combines with the tool, only a separate one. If anyone wants to get details, he should find it from "Start - Programs - Acme CAD Converter - Help".
Benefits:
Sometimes, the most frustrating thing is received a certain file which cannot be opened by the current tools we have. Such as Some special image formats, which is applied in a certain image tool to edit them.
A couple of days ago, one of my colleages helped me edit a picture and she sent me a special format, the original one is a .gif image while she sent back a .psd file.
I'm afraid that the file cannot be compatible with my image viewer, thus I converted it to a .jpg file by an image editing tool.
