General Product Information

MG-SOFT Net Inspector is a general network management system (NMS) application, designed for monitoring and managing multi-protocol distributed systems such as computer networks or public switching networks.

The software has a built-in support for monitoring network devices running the standard management protocol (SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, SNMPv3), and a variety of standard networking services (HTTP, FTP, SMTP, IMAP, POP3, DNS, SSH, NNTP, ICMP Echo) running on IPv4 and IPv6 networks. On devices supporting SNMP, Net Inspector automatically polls particularly relevant OID groups (System, Interfaces, Host Resources, etc.) to monitor device status, network statistics and system resources utilization.
