Pros:
Handy Backup is a piece of software designed to backup all of your important data and it does that job very well. It is extremely intuitive and easy-to-use, even novices would do well with it.
Cons:
To set the Email alerts up, you must acquire some computer knowledge with an understanding of SMTP servers, or the ability to find out the information to get this to work.
Benefits:
Have you ever worried about any computer problems would deprive you of years of work, e-mail, family photos, and more? Backing up our important data is always essential. If you need this kind of tool, Handy Backup is a good choice. It provides an extremely easy way of backing up our data. You can, for example, select from backing up to another drive on your LAN (local area network), to an FTP site, or to CD-R or CD-RW discs. Folder and file selection is simple.
Besides, Handy Backup comes with ZIP compression that's integrated right into the program. At the same time it also has support for 128-bit encryption, so your stored data is always safe.
One feature that I really liked was the fact that the program supports "spanning" of discs. That means that if your data exceeds the size of your first CD, your backup doesn't just stop. Instead, the program prompts you to give it another CD. With this feature, you can have huge backups and have them span multiple CDs. Very slick!
Handy Backup also has a nifty scheduler which I found to be extremely flexible. It also gives you an option to do your backups when you log off your computer or when you log on. What a nice option! The program also puts an icon in your system tray, shows you its progress, and works nicely in the background.
Setup:
The download file for Handy Backup is very small, only 1.84MB. Handy Backup is very easy to install. Just following the install wizards, and click the next button till end. There is no adware, malware and other packed software. So don’t worry, it is 100% clean.
Handy Backup offers uninstall wizard as well. Any time you want to remove it from computer, just run it. All of program related files will be automatically removed.
Interface:

The GUI is clean and concise enough; you could easily catch all the buttons’ meaning. However, it is a little humdrum. It’s a common panel with white and grey background.
System Requirements:
Handy Backup is designed for Windows 95/98/Me or Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP operating systems, approximately 2MB of free disk space.
Conclusion:
Handy Backup is really a nifty, easy-to-use utility that employs a helpful wizard to guide you through the usually painful backup process. A nice interface and complete set of options make this backup utility more attractive. So, if you've been looking for a program for backing up your data, try Handy Backup. I think you'll like it.
