Absolutely, it is a helpful tool for cloning DVD—no matter what kind DVD you have, it will meet what you want it to do. And it is very easy to use. So, if you are not familiar with DVD cloning software, it is a good choice.

Bad:

The express interface has only one main button, which is designed for common users. Though it is good for different users, it also confuses some people, for the guidelines aren’t yet very clear for beginners—what is DVD 9? What is DVD 5?

Setup

It is quite easy to install with its navigation. How much space it will take depends on the format of DVD you choose—5GB free hard disc for DVD 5 and 10GB free hard disc for DVD 9. The uninstalling is easy and convenient as its installation. I compared it with Super DVD Copy and found the latter is lack of uninstall process and you have to uninstall by Control Panel.

I’ve mentioned above that DVD Cloner contains 2 different parts of main menu, which means 2 different interfaces for both novice and advanced users. The different interfaces are: express interface and expert interface. According to the literal meaning, we can infer that expert interface is for advanced users and the rest is for beginners. Yes, we got it.

The express interface which I called the beginner-use-button is really clear to operate. One big button to control, you will just select the source of DVD and then all things will be done automatically. Also, there are some choices made by yourself, such as To D5 and To D9 (D5 takes up 4.7GB while D9 takes up 8.5GB--don’t be afraid of those ‘professional terms’).

The expert interface is for advanced users or skillful users. There are more choices than the express interface, also provides more professional functions. For example, if your DVD disk is in poor quality or damaged by some reasons, there is a function called ‘DVD fix’ to recover it to the greatest extent. Of course, the most optimized mode is able to read by DVD-Rom. You can compress a DVD 9 movie to a DVD 5 disk and there are various choices for users; According to your computer’s free space. If you worry about the space, you can choose some customized scene and the space will be taken less than the original files. You do not need to worry about the integrality of the film—if you click the button, it will keep the whole film but other files will lose. It is very common during these kinds of software.


System Requirements
