Automation Anywhere, by Tethys Solutions, LLCis a powerful application that helps you to automate tasks onyour computer. A really handy feature is the ability to schedule tasksso they can run at any time of the day or night. In testing it out Ifound it to be easy-to-use and you don't have to be a programmer to useit either. The program can record all keystrokes and mouse movements soyou have it memorize a given task. For some tasks, however, you can usewizards to quickly create a specific task.
Automation Anywhere has a number of really cool features. Forexample, the program can login to a computer to perform a task even whenthe computer is locked down. It can also extract data from Web pages,and record Web activities. My favorite feature is the ability to turn atask into an executable file. Slick! That means one person can create anautomation sequence, generate an EXE, and then share it with multipleusers. Perfect for companies where multiple people all have to do thesame repetitive task.
Automation Anywhere can be used for tasks that are simple orcomplex. You can manage files, do things on the Internet, and evencreate tasks that will react to different circumstances. So, if you havetasks you'd like to automate, take a look.
