Cancel "Display user score and passing score" to prevent test takers see their test result when they finish the quiz. When you cancel the option, the "Preview" icon will not available at the end of the quiz.
Cancel "Display pass/fail message" to prevent test takers know their passing states when they finish the quiz. Also, when you cancel the option, the "Preview" icon will not available at the end of the quiz, and the pass/fail messages are not available.
If you disabled the above two settings, you may like to add a message, which indicates test takers they have finished the quiz, on "Display this message instead of showing the test result" area.
You may enter the pass or fail message which will be shown to the quiz taker at the end of quiz, indicating the result of the quiz.
- Post Result to Web Database
The data of the quiz result can be gathered and passed to web database. Here you'll be asked to enter the URL of a webpage with ASP or PHP extension which is hosted in a specified web server. You may interest in how to configure the web database. We provide you a step by step user guide about this issue.
a. Select the check box before "Send Manually", you'll find the button (shown as in the following figure) on the player,
Quiz taker may press the button to send the quiz result to the specified asp/php page after taking the quiz.
b. Selecting the check box before "Send Automatically", when the quiz taker finish the quiz and submit all the answers, the result will be sent automatically to the location which you specified, and the "Send quiz result button" will not be available then.
- Send Result via E-mail
In the E-mail field, enter the E-mail address to which you want to send the result. After conversion, there will be an E-mail icon on the player. Click the button and the program will generate a test report and send it via E-mail using a program embedded in our official site. If you don't input an E-mail address, when a quiz taker clicks the E-mail icon on your player, the program will create a new E-mail with the test report as the content of the new E-mail using the default E-mail software on each quiz taker's computer, and the quiz taker can just enter an E-mail address and send the result to the E-mail. Post URL, this URL is the location of the php page used to send the test report e-mail. The default URL is the php in our official site. If you want to use other site's service you may change it or just ignore it.
If you check "send test results to quiz taker's e-mail box", the test result will also be sent to quiz taker's e-mail box.
Note: This function is applicable only when you select WEB or LMS as the publish format and view it with Internet Explorer.
- Action when "finish" is clicked
There're two options for the user to specify the finishing action.
a. "When user passes", choose Close to close the window, choose Go to URL to go to a specific URL you entered.
b.
"When user fails", choose Close to close the window, choose Go to URL to go to a specific URL you entered.
