- Can the quiz result and the quiz questions be printed?
You can check the "Print" option in the Player settings window (by clicking Template on the upper left). And after publishing your quiz, there will be a Print icon on the upper right of the player. Click this icon and the current page, either questions or the test result, will be printed.
- How do I disable the Print function?
To disable the Print function, you can go to the Player template tab, click ¡°Player¡± and uncheck the Print option under ¡°Tool bar¡±.
- How do I use my own language other than English on the template?
Under the Player Settings tab, click the Player Settings button, go to ¡°Text & label¡± and input the words that will be used on the template in your own language in the Custom Text list.
- How do I sort the order of the questions in my quiz?
Click the project name on the left pane and you will see all the questions in your project. You can just drag a selected question to sort its order. The program only allows you to drag one question at a time.
- How do I add a question using the keyboard?
To add a question, you can just hold down the Ctrl key and press 1 to 8 to add questions of different types.
1. True/False, 2. Multiple Choice (single answer), 3. Multiple Choice (multiple answers), 4. Fill in the Blank, 5. Matching, 6. Sequence, 7. Click Map, 8. Short Essay.
- Can I sort the order of my questions in my quiz?
Yes. On the main interface, you can click "Question ID" or"Question Type" to sort the order according to the ID or the different types of your questions. However, after a quiz is published, all the questions in it are sorted only by their ID.
- Are there any hot (shortcut) keys on the keyboard I can use?
Yes, QuizCreator allows quiz takers to quickly navigate and submit questions using hotkeys. Please refer to Hotkeys section to learn the hotkeys.
- How can I integrate quizzes with PPT2Flash Pro in QuizCreator?
After you created your own quiz with QuizCreator, click Publish tab, then click PPT2Flash button, the Publish dialog appears. Specify the output folder, in which your flash quiz will be exported to. Check Publish to Existing PPT2Flash Project, then the options below are enabled. Find the output folder that generated by PPT2Flash, choose the file, swfs.xml, click Open. You will a see slide list of the presentation you loaded on the left area of Slides, and the thumbnail view of the slide will be shown on the right area. After you selected a slide in the list, you can choose to insert your quiz before or after it. After all click Publish, you will get a quiz embedded presentation.
- What is .qcp file? How to generate that file for loading a quiz in PPT2Flash Pro?
If you want to insert a QuizCreator quiz into PPT2Flash Pro, you will be asked to load a .qcp file. You need to publish your quiz for PPT2Flash Pro, and then you have the .qcp file in the output folder. After you create a quiz for your presentation, choose Publish for PPT2Flash. Remember the quiz name and the output location (the default location is C:Program FilesWondershareQuizCreatorOutput). In PPT2Flash Pro menu choose insert QuizCreator quiz, find the quiz folder, and choose the .qcp file. The inserted quiz will be an individual slide in Microsoft® PowerPoint®.
- How to track test results by using the provided ASP&PHP samples?

- I set the Action at the end of quiz as "close", why it does not close when I click the finish button?
It is probably because you opened your quiz with Firefox. You may fix the problem with the following steps:
1. Enter "about:config" in address bar, press Enter key. You see the settings page.
2. Press Ctrl + F, then enter "dom.allow_scripts_to_close_windows", find it.
3. Double click it to set its value "true", and save the change.
Ok, you fixed it.
- Can I insert a flash movie to my quiz?
Yes. QuizCreator not only allows you append a picture for each of your question, but also flash movie. In the Add Question dialog, click Image bar to expend it (on the upper-right of the window), click , in the pop-up window, from ¡®Files of type¡¯ you can see .swf in the supported file list. Ok, find your flash movie on your local disk, and insert it to the question.
- How can I add background music for my quiz?
In Quiz Properties tab, click Settings. At the bottom of the setting pane you see Background Audio, click , and then choose an audio file as the background music of your quiz. After choosing an audio file you may click  to play the music. You can stop playing by clicking  . If you do not like the music, you may click  to remove it, then choose another one.
- Where will the Author Info be displayed?
When you play quiz, click
on the upper-right corner of the window, the author info will be displayed.
- How can I prevent my students reviewing their answers?
Go to Quiz Properties tab, click settings, under Others, cancel "Display answers after submission". The review button will not be shown after test takers finished the quiz.
- I do not want my students see the difficult level of questions, what should I do?
Go to player Template, under Player tab, cancel the check box on the left of Level. The difficult level will not be shown while taking the quiz.
- What information will be included in the test results that sent to web database?
Items in the test report includes,
* QuizID (The ID is specified in the Quiz Properties: Quiz Info)
* Title (Title of the quiz)
* User (Name of the quiz taker)
* Email (Email address of the quiz taker)
* User ID (An identity code of quiz taker)
* Total Score (The quiz taker's score)
* Full Score (The full score of the quiz)
* Passing Score (The passing rate of the quiz, passing score divides the score)
* Passing Status (The status indicating whether the quiz taker has passed the quiz or not)
* Question Info (Details of each question, question, question type, points, user's responses, correct answers and results)
* TimeInfo (Information about the time of the quiz, the time quiz taker submit the quiz)
- Randomize questions
QuizCreator allows you to get randomized quizzes in two ways, one is Shuffle Questions, and the other is Randomize Quiz. If you choose to shuffle questions, every time you publish the quiz the questions are presented in a different order. Once the quiz is published the order is fixed. On the other side, if choose to randomize quiz, all questions in the current quiz project are contained in the published quiz, and every time you run the quiz, the questions will be presented in a different order. And, if you select part of questions to be presented in a quiz by entering a value on Number of questions to be used field, every time you run the quiz, different questions will be presented and also the presenting order.
