Wondershare Pocket DVD Ripper lets you edit each your DVD video by cropping video and setting video effects.
Click the Edit icon to open the Edit window to crop video and set video effects.
Crop Video: Click the Crop tab to crop your DVD movie video.
You can crop video in the following three methods:
- Drag crop frame
Move your mouse cursor to one of the eight small adjustment boxes on the crop frame (the dashed line) and drag
the crop frame to crop the video.
- Select crop mode
Select a pre-set crop mode from the crop mode drop-down list to cut off the black edges of your DVD video.
- Set crop values
There are four crop values: Up, Down, Left and right. Set each value to crop your movie video, and the crop
frame will move accordingly to crop the video.
Note: Before you crop your DVD video, you can select an output aspect ratio from the Zoom list. There
are four choices available:
Full screen, Keep original, 16:9 and 4:3. After you select an output aspect ratio and finish
the crop, the result can be previewed in the Preview window of the program main interface.
Video Effects: Click the Effect tab to set video effect

- Video effects
Brightness: Drag the Brightness adjustment slider to set the brightness of the video.
Contrast: Drag the Contrast adjustment slider to set the contrast of the video.
Saturation: Drag the Saturation adjustment slider to set the saturation of the video.
Special effect: Select a special effect from the Special Effect drop-down list for the video. The available
effects are Gray, Emboss, Negative, Old film and No effect.
- Volume: Drag the Volume adjustment slider to set the volume of your movie audio.
