To the output formats of DVD Video Disc, HD DVD, SVCD Video Disc, VCD Video Disc, MPEG-I Movie and MPEG-II Movie, the output settings are similar. There are totally 4 steps to follow:

№1. Click button to open the configuration dialogue box. |

№2. Make output general settings:

※ TV Standard |
Choose the TV standard of your country. If you are not familiar with this, you can click help and select your country. Click here to learn technological detail of NTSC and PAL.

※ Aspect Ratio |
Choose a video aspect ratio according to your TV and disc player types. You can also click button "Advance" to customize the video aspect, see the picture below:

※ Play Mode |
Full Screen mode allows the video stretch to full screen but no distortion. But it may cause black edges around the video. When playing on TV, the video may be cut at the edges to adapt the aspect of your TV.
Safe Mode offers a solution that ensures the video will not be cut, no matter what TV you are using. |

※ You can also select the checkboxes in order that "Do not include menu and play the DVD continuously" or "Jump to menu selection when video plays completely".

№3. Make output encoder settings:

Select a video quality as you demand. |
| Encoder Option |
There are two encode options avaible. If you want better video quality, you can check the Progressive Mode. If you want better compatibility, you can check the Force CBR Mode. |
| Language |
Choose a DVD Audio Language as you wish. You can click button to browse for more countries. |

№4. Click button to confirm settings, and button to abandon settings you've made. |

To the output formats of MPEG-4 Movie(iPod), WMV Movie(Zune), AVI Movie, 3GP Movie, the output settings are alike, too.

According to above data, we can see that :the same source video ,xVid need less time to convert ,but H.264 has better quality.
