Checking E-mail without Spam Shredder
If you need to check e-mail without Spam Shredder, you must follow one of the procedures below, depending on which e-mail client you are using. Remember that this disables spam protection until you enable it again.
For Outlook Express:
- Close Spam Shredder completely.
- Close and restart Outlook Express.
- To re-enable spam protection, close Outlook Express, start Spam Shredder, then start Outlook Express.
For Outlook or Eudora:
- Start Spam Shredder, if it is not already running, and display the main window.
- In the icon panel, click E-mail Accounts.
- Select the Outlook or Eudora account you want to check without Spam Shredder.
- Under Account Settings, deselect the Enable Spam Protection for this Account option.
- Restart Outlook or Eudora.
- To re-enable spam protection, start Spam Shredder, select the Enable Spam Protection for this Account option, then restart Outlook or Eudora.
For other e-mail clients:
- Close Spam Shredder completely.
- In your e-mail client, change your accounts back to their original settings.
